Summer recreational opportunities in the park include hiking, fishing, horseback riding and rock climbing, to name a few. Winter recreational opportunities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking as well.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a community living environment. Community living can be a great way to bond and create lifelong friendships with others who share similar interests and values, however, it does come with some challenges. Being prepared will help with your transition.
mployee housing is dormitory-style. Each room has a private bathroom and accommodates 2 - 4 people. Rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, tables, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. Laundry facilities are included. You must be 18 years of age or older to live in company housing and must be actively employed by Xanterra. Pets, children and smoking are not permitted in dormitory housing.
Meals
The Employee Dining Room (EDR) serves cafeteria-style meals that include a hot entrée and side dishes, sandwiches, salads, fruits, cereals and beverages. Vegetarian options are available at each meal, however, the EDR chef and crew are not able to accommodate all dietary needs such as vegan or allergy-related restrictions.
